Busting Excuses
So you're considering a photoshoot, but you're thinking one or more of the following thoughts:
I need to lose 10 pounds first
I don't have anyone to give the images to
I'll never look as good as the people on your website
I don't have a 'reason' to do a shoot
I am not photogenic
STOP.
Just reading the above thoughts is exhausting. You can come up with all the excuses in the world as to why you shouldn't do a shoot, but at the end of the day if it is something you want to do, you should just do it. It doesn't matter if you're in shape or a little fluffy, it doesn't matter if you do the shoot for yourself or have someone to gift it to - it will still be super special. All of the women who have graced our studio have had these same thoughts and more.
I want you to repeat after me: "I am perfectly imperfect."
IT'S TIME TO START FILLING YOUR MIND WITH POSITIVE THOUGHTS AND TAKING ACTION FOR THE THINGS YOU WANT IN LIFE, NOW.
You do not need to fit a certain mold to do a boudoir session.
There is no one single definition of beautiful, we are all unique and that is what is special. Just because someone else looks different than you does not take away from your own individual beauty. We photograph women of all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, etc. and each and every one of them is gorgeous in many aspect both inside and out.
Whether you’re a kickass business woman, an amazing stay at home Mom, or a combination of the two, we all need a pick me up from time to time. Boudoir is for you, too. When was the last time you did something just for you???? If you can’t remember, then it time. How can you truly take care of everyone else if you aren’t taking the time for yourself.
It’s time to invest in yourself. Yes, boudoir is an investment. It is time to embrace the beautiful women that you are and invest in you. You can make excuses all day long or you can embrace the body you have. You only get once change at this life, why not live it?
We’ve mentioned this before, we welcome any and ALL women no matter shape, size, race, age, etc. You are beautifully you, and we want to capture that in our photos. It is important for us to show you how amazing you are! We have photographed hundreds and hundreds of women and the majority of them are plus size. We LOVE photographing curvy women. Embrace your curves, babes!
